Join us for a special screening of the climate change documentary Cresta Alta, as part of The Risan Project’s 2025 tour! This powerful film follows an expedition to Alaska, Iceland, Chile, and Peru to document glaciological research and sustainability efforts.
Post-screening Discussion/Q&A with producer and director Todd Anders Johnson, where we’ll dive into the global environmental messaging of Cresta Alta and its connections to local and regional environmental movements.
Plus, enjoy a screening of Northward, a short documentary about the socially conscious Colorado band Salem and their backcountry snowboarding adventures in Alaska.
