Looking for a more casual event option and ready to book ASAP? Consider booking a 2-hour Multi-Table Event for your group. We offer this reservation type to groups of 10 to 20 people, available both indoors and outdoors (seasonally, weather permitting).

The minimum food and beverage send spend is $25 per person with a $50 flat rental fee.

The first batch of Long Trail Ale® rolled off the line in 1989. At the time, the craft brewing industry in America was on the rise and Vermont was better known for maple syrup than beer. When Long Trail Ale® hit the taps at local watering holes; it blazed the trail for Vermont’s craft brewing industry.
With the Mountain Brewers leading the pack, Long Trail Ale® slowly weaved its way into the Green Mountain landscape—becoming as much a Vermont tradition as the hiking trail itself. Commonly referred to as “the Long Trail guys,” we eventually changed our name.
This long hike through craft beer has been a journey through ups and downs, peaks and valleys. In 2022, we made the decision to merge the brand, and keep our roots with a fellow brand equally steeped in Vermont (as well as an employee owned company), Harpoon Brewery. We look forward to this next chapter in our adventure and are excited to continue hosting you at our Riverside Pub at Long Trail!

A Full Brewery buy-out gives you private usage of the entire restaurant space. The space has access to our main bar for guest convenience. Seating is available at our restaurant tables as well as potential for more creativity with table/chair layouts in the surrounding areas.

A roped off, semi-private area combining two of our most sought-after spots in the Taproom. You and your guests will have access to both inside and outside areas with a private bar. There is room for creativity on the set up of the space. Enjoy the best of both the views and the brewery/taproom esthetic.

The Beer Tent is open year round and offers you and your guests full privacy. With the ability to customize the space, this is our favorite space for a private gathering. While still providing views of the river, this space is optimal for a group gathering.

High Top Area

The High Top area gives access to our main bar via a service station. This is a great option for a smaller, more casual group gathering.

Riverside Deck (Outdoors)

The Riverside Deck is our most popular spot at the brewery. With access to a private bar, there is optimal space for a cocktail style party and gathering with views of the beautiful Ottauquechee River. This area can be added to a full buyout for a fee.

The Riverside Patio is an open area space that is removed from the restaurant giving you and your guests privacy with still embracing the outdoor esthetic. There is opportunity for tent rentals and customization of the space.

Sugar Sheds (Outdoors – Winter)

We have four heated sheds that sit up to 8 people. All Sugar Shed experiences are reservation only and are available for 120-minute timeslots. All Sugar Sheds feature heaters (though you will still want to bundle up!), Bluetooth speaker (bring your own music!), and full food and beverage service.

In-House Catering
We’ve sourced local Vermont ingredients to offer you a seasonal menu that complements our award-winning, handcrafted beer. Reach out to your Event Coordinator to get more information on all catering offerings. All catering offerings are subject to availability.
Additional Terms & Conditions
We have a variety of food offerings and bar packages that will be charged per guest in line with the minimum required guest count as listed for each space. If the combined cost of food an beverage exceeds the base contracted amount, the payment of additional purchases will be due at the time of the event. Final contracted pricing is dependent on day, time, and headcount.
